Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
AYSO Region 13 welcomes all participants regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic position, ability, or disability.
Our Commitment
We believe everyone belongs in soccer. Our practices reflect this:
Training
Equity principles are incorporated into coach and referee training and parent communications.
Financial Accessibility
Everyone plays in Region 13, regardless of a family’s financial circumstances. Scholarships are available for any family that needs assistance.
Community Building
Teams develop one-on-one connections among players and coaches.
Leadership Oversight
The board monitors inclusive culture on an ongoing basis.
Player Development
We emphasize development through inclusive community engagement.
Registration Flexibility
Our registration offers “girls” and “boys” divisions. Members may change divisions seasonally to explore identity or seek different competitive levels.
EPIC Program
Our EPIC program (Everyone Plays In our Community) serves players of all ages who benefit from assistance on the field, pairing them with volunteer buddies for a customized experience.
